Pia Smith

MS, OTR/L – Murray
Pia Smith, MS, OTR/L, is a dedicated pelvic health occupational therapist at Reborn Pelvic Health & Wellness. She is known for her compassionate, whole-person approach that integrates physical, emotional, and social well-being into every aspect of care.
Originally from New Zealand, Pia moved to the United States in 2015 on a swimming scholarship to the University of West Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Lenoir-Rhyne University, blending her strong foundation in movement science with advanced clinical training to guide clients through their pelvic health journeys.
Pia’s transition into pelvic health was shaped by specialized training through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute’s Pelvic Function Level 1 course and certification as a Level 1 Functional Pelvic Health Practitioner through The Functional Pelvis. She has also completed advanced coursework in dry needling and visceral mobilization, equipping her to address the intricate interplay of musculoskeletal, neurological, and visceral factors that impact pelvic health.
Her approach is integrative and function-focused, emphasizing evidence-informed, personalized care that empowers clients to reconnect with their bodies and regain confidence in their daily lives. Pia has a special interest in supporting pregnant and postpartum individuals, guiding them through the physical and emotional transitions of this transformative life stage with empathy and expertise.
Outside the clinic, Pia finds restoration in nature. She enjoys hiking, skiing, swimming, and camping—activities that reflect her belief in the healing power of movement and the outdoors.
