Dr. Kasia Unes
PT, DPT – Murray
Kasia is a pelvic health physical therapist who enjoys helping patients better understand their bodies so they can regain comfort, confidence and control in their daily lives. She believes pelvic health concerns are often overlooked despite their major impact on daily function and quality of life. She strives to create a supportive environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions and discussing concerns that may feel difficult to talk about. She is also committed to creating an inclusive environment and enjoys working with individuals from diverse backgrounds including neurodiversity and members of the LQBTQ+ community.
She works with individuals experiencing a variety of pelvic health concerns including pain, weakness, coordination difficulties, and bladder, bowel or sexual dysfunction. She enjoys helping patients better understand the factors contributing to their symptoms and collaborates with other healthcare providers when helpful to support comprehensive care.
She is interested in how the pelvic floor functions within the larger body systems including musculoskeletal and autonomic nervous system regulation. She enjoys helping patients understand how these factors can influence symptoms and recovery.
Her treatment approach combines hands-on manual therapy, pelvic floor coordination training, breathing and pressure management strategies and movement retraining. She focuses on individualized care and helps patients develop the knowledge and tools needed to support long-term pelvic health.
Kasia was born in Poland and grew up in Illinois before moving to Utah for PT school. Outside the clinic, she enjoys yoga, skiing, biking and also loves spending time gardening and painting. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their son and their dog.
