Dr. Danaya Kauwe

PT, DPT – Lehi

Dr. Danaya received her Bachelor Degree from USU in Human Movement Science and her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Utah in 2019. During the course of her studies, she developed a passion for pelvic health after having her first baby and personally experiencing the value of Pelvic PT. She also became a strong advocate of increasing awareness for pelvic PT especially for pregnant and postpartum women as she believes all women should have informed and fearless pregnancies and births.

Danaya has trained in multiple types of manual therapies including myofascial release, visceral mobilization, cupping and trigger point dry needling – for all areas of the body including the pelvic floor. She has taken advanced treatment courses in stress urinary incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain and complex pelvic floor conditions such as endometriosis and interstitial cystitis.

She loves using her specialized training to increase her client’s knowledge of their bodies and to help them gain independence as they work toward their goals of fitness, pain-free living, and overall confidence.

When not in the clinic, Danaya enjoys playing sand volleyball, listening to audiobooks, traveling to new places, and spending time with her husband and three adorable children.
