Dr. Alyssa Grinde
PT, DPT – Lehi
Dr. Alyssa Grinde earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University in Provo, Utah. She is originally from Minnesota where she graduated from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities with her Bachelor of Arts in Human Physiology. Her passion for pelvic health began early after witnessing women in her life limit their activities due to pelvic floor dysfunction. During her undergraduate studies, an introductory physical therapy course helped her realize that physical therapy could be a way to help the individuals in her life–and many others–reclaim their quality of life, solidifying her path in pelvic health physical therapy. Alyssa believes pelvic health care should be individualized, collaborative, and centered on patient comfort and understanding. She prioritizes strong patient–therapist relationships and ensures patients are active leaders in their plan of care. Through education, clear communication, and personalized treatment plans, Alyssa helps patients better understand their bodies and feel confident throughout their rehabilitation. She enjoys working with patients through all stages of life and treats a wide range of pelvic floor concerns with the goal of helping patients return to the activities they love. Outside of the clinic, Alyssa enjoys skiing, hiking, traveling to Minnesota to visit friends and family, and working toward (and hopefully exceeding) her reading goals.
