Care You Can Trust
Pelvic Floor Symptoms Are Common, But You Don’t Have to Live With Them
Many people wait months or even years before getting help for pelvic floor symptoms because they assume they are “normal,” embarrassing, or just part of life. They are common, but not normal. They are treatable, not something you have to just live with. And you are not alone. We have helped thousands of patients feel strong and confident in their bodies again. Pelvic floor physical therapy may help if you are experiencing:
- Bladder leaks when you laugh, cough, sneeze, run, jump, or lift
- Urgency or feeling like you always need to know where the bathroom is
- Pelvic pressure or heaviness
- Pain with intimacy
- Pregnancy-related pelvic, hip, back, or tailbone pain
- Postpartum core weakness or diastasis recti
- C-section scar discomfort or restriction
- Constipation or difficulty emptying
- Pelvic pain, tailbone pain, or pain with sitting
- Symptoms that show up during running, lifting, Pilates, or sports
- Men’s pelvic pain, bladder control concerns, or post-prostate surgery symptoms
At Reborn, we look at how your pelvic floor works with your core, breath, hips, spine, posture, and movement so we can treat the root of the problem, not just chase symptoms. We know that your tight pelvic floor and that pesky TMJ are related, and we can help them both. We take a whole-body approach.
“The best PT I have ever been to. They are so kind, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. I came in dealing with all kinds of issues and they helped me with everything. I felt safe and heard at every appointment. It is not an exaggeration when I say that my life has been changed because of Reborn. Thank you to everyone at Reborn. I am so grateful.”

Bladder Leaks & Urgency
Leaking during workouts, sneezing, laughing, or running is common, but it is not something you have to accept as your new normal. Bladder symptoms often happen when the pelvic floor, core, pressure system, and breathing patterns are not coordinating well together. Sometimes the answer is strengthening. Sometimes it is relaxation, mobility, bladder retraining, or learning how to manage pressure differently.
We help with:
- Stress urinary incontinence
- Urgency and frequency
- Leaking with exercise
- Postpartum bladder leaks
- Bladder symptoms during perimenopause or menopause
- Difficulty emptying or feeling like you still need to go
Our goal is to help you feel more confident in your body, your workouts, your daily life, and your ability to leave the house without planning everything around a bathroom.
Pregnancy & Postpartum Pelvic Floor Therapy
Pregnancy changes your body in incredible ways, but that doesn’t mean you have to simply “wait it out” until after delivery. Pelvic floor physical therapy can help you prepare your body for labor and delivery, manage pregnancy discomfort, and build the strength, mobility, and confidence needed for a smoother birth and recovery. Whether you’re hoping for your first baby or preparing for another delivery, our goal is to help you feel informed, supported, and ready for the journey ahead. After birth, we help you reconnect with your core, pelvic floor, breathing, posture, and strength so you can recover well and confidently return to caring for your baby, exercise, intimacy, and the activities you love.
We commonly help with:
✔ Preparing your body for labor and delivery
✔ Birth preparation and pushing education
✔ Breathing and movement strategies for labor
✔ Perineal stretching education
✔ Prolapse symptoms or pelvic heaviness
✔ Pelvic girdle pain
✔ Low back, hip, pubic bone, or tailbone pain
✔ Pelvic floor awareness and birth readiness
✔ Postpartum bladder leaks
✔ Return to running, lifting, and exercise
✔ Diastasis recti
✔ C-section scar mobility and recovery
✔ Pain with intimacy after birth
✔ Core weakness
Whether you’re preparing to give birth or navigating recovery afterward, pelvic floor physical therapy provides personalized guidance every step of the way. Postpartum recovery does not end at six weeks. Whether your baby is six weeks, six months, or 6 years old, support is still available.
Pelvic Floor Therapy for Active Women
If you are a runner, lifter, Pilates lover, CrossFit athlete, hiker, dancer, or just someone who wants to stay active, pelvic floor symptoms can feel especially frustrating. You may notice leaking during workouts, pelvic heaviness after exercise, hip or low back pain, core pressure, or a feeling that your body is not responding the way it used to.
We help active women understand how the pelvic floor connects to:
- Breathing mechanics
- Core control
- Hip strength and mobility
- Running form
- Lifting strategy
- Pressure management
- Posture and alignment
- Recovery after pregnancy or injury
The goal is not to tell you to stop moving. The goal is to help your body move better so you can keep doing the things you love with less pain, leaking, or fear.
Men’s Pelvic Health Physical Therapy
Men have pelvic floors too, and pelvic floor physical therapy can help with symptoms that are often overlooked or misunderstood. Our South Jordan team provides one-on-one individualized and respectful care for men experiencing:
- Pelvic pain
- Tailbone or sitting pain
- Bladder leaks
- Urgency or frequency
- Post-prostate surgery recovery
- Erectile dysfunction support
- Pain with exercise
- Core and pelvic floor coordination issues
Care is always discreet, professional, and focused on helping you return to the activities and daily life that matter most.

Why Choose Reborn Pelvic Health & Wellness?
At Reborn, pelvic health is not a subset of what we do. It is our focus and specialty. Our care is different because every visit is:
1. One-on-one
You work directly with your physical therapist for your full session. No techs. No huge workout rooms. No hand offs. We believe in truly personalized care.
2. Specialized
Our providers are trained in pelvic health and understand the complexity of these symptoms. They are experts in their field and utilize a variety of specialized techniques such as dry needling, cupping, and pessary fitting to support our patients.
3. Whole-body focused
We look at your pelvic floor, core, breath, hips, spine, movement, scar tissue, habits, and goals. We know that symptoms never exist in isolation and look at how all of your body works together.
4. Private and supportive
You will be treated with respect, clarity, and compassion. We always move at your comfort level and are passionate about you feeling safe and heard during every appointment.
5. Personalized
Your plan is built around your body, your symptoms, and the life you want to get back to.
We do not believe in quick dismissal, one-size-fits-all Kegels, or telling people their symptoms are just part of aging, motherhood, or being active.
What to Expect at Your First Visit
Your first visit is designed to help us understand what is happening and what matters most to you. You can expect:
A conversation about your symptoms, history, goals, and concerns
Education about how the pelvic floor may be contributing
Practical steps you can start using right away
A whole-body movement assessment
Discussion of treatment options
A personalized plan of care
Internal pelvic floor assessment may be recommended when appropriate, but it is always explained clearly and always based on your comfort and consent.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral for pelvic floor physical therapy?
No! In Utah, we are direct care providers, and you can call and come in when it works for you. If your insurance happens to require one, our team can help you understand what is needed.
Is pelvic floor therapy awkward?
It is normal to feel nervous before your first visit. Our sessions are private, respectful, and guided by your comfort level. We explain everything before we do anything.
Do I have to do an internal exam?
No. Internal assessment can be helpful for some patients, but it is never required. Your therapist will discuss options with you and only proceed with your consent.
Can pelvic floor therapy help if I had my baby years ago?
Yes. Postpartum symptoms can persist for years, but that does not mean it is too late. We regularly help patients address leaking, pain, scar tissue, core weakness, and pelvic pressure long after birth.
Can you help with leaking during running or lifting?
Yes. We work with active patients to improve pelvic floor coordination, breathing, pressure management, strength, and movement mechanics so they can return to exercise with more confidence.
Is pelvic floor therapy only for women?
No. We also treat men with pelvic pain, bladder control symptoms, post-prostate surgery concerns, and sexual health-related pelvic floor issues.
